Sega Looking for Shenmue III Funds in Exchange for Exclusivity Deal

Sega has revealed in the latest edition of Famitsu 360 that they would be willing to resurrect the Shenmue franchise if console manufacturers paid them for an exclusive deal, well thats according to Gameranx.

Previously Shenmue cost a massive $70 million to develop and this time around Sega is very reluctant to develop this alone. With exclusive titles being hyped up and well marketed by both Sony and Microsoft it seems Sega is also looking for something extra apart from the investment.

I dont think Sony or Microsoft will really take a punt on a Shenmue franchise that has been dead for the past sever years.
