Indeed, the PS3 can can stand by itself, so long as you buy a stand for $24.
Plus, figures of speech tend to change depending on location (Ireland).

Not a bad review, but a couple of edits:
The slimmer PS3 is painted matte black, not matt black.
I think that the original PS3 already had a WiFi reciever.
The figure of speech you were looking for with respect to the 24 dollar stand is either "fork over" or "shell out" but not "fork out" or "shell over"

Still though, keep up the good work and make sure to read plenty of other writers' work. Typos and other editing mistakes make a poor first impression and distract from your otherwise decent content.

Wow, did you read anything about the new one before trying to slam it?

The old one had Wifi Too, The Slim can stand on its own, they put in a new cooling system and a Smaller Cell chip(65nm-45nm). It needs less power and is quieter then the old one. And smaller to boot. I'd say its a pretty good upgrade.

Lets try reading about something before writing about it since everything you said about the new one is wrong except that you think that its ugly. Plus its cheaper, and who can argue with that.

Why? It's cheaper to produce. And WiFi is not new -- it's always been there.
