Madden NFL Super Bowl Simulation Picks Another Super Bowl Winner

Every year EA’s Madden NFL franchise runs an offical Super Bowl simulation with the aim to predict the Super Bowl winner. This year the prediction has been correct yet again, making it now six times out of seven.

The game wasn’t as much of a nail-biter as EA predicted earlier this week, as the New Orleans Saints coasted to a 14-point win instead of pulling ahead at the last minute to win by 4. However, Drew Brees did end up winning the Super Bowl MVP trophy, another fact that the NFL video game franchise was able to deduce. Personally, I think the Saints’ field goal kicker should have received the trophy. If it wasn’t for him, this game would have been over by halftime.

Congrats go out to the New Orleans Saints, and EA for creating a video game that has been so accurate in its predictions. Now all we need is for EA to create a title that can predict how political elections and the final season of Lost will pan out.
