Halo 3: ODST Out September 22

Halo 3 is getting an expansion pack set to have a new campaign, new mulitplayer and even a brand new hero for the series so say goodbye to the Master Chief and his MJOLNIR Mark IV armour and welcome in The Rookie, one of the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODSTs).

Set two weeks before the events of New Mombasa in Halo 3 the main objective here is to search the ruins of New Mombasa and discover the fate of your missing team mates, of course this may not be as easy as you think. Without the Master Chiefs super armour the ODSTs are much more vunerable so expect more cautious gameplay also Bungie has elected to stray from the linear progression of the Halo trilogy and elected to go for an open world letting the player choose to do the levels in any order they like.

Along with a more standard multiplayer experience Halo 3 : OSDT features Firefight Mode pitting players against increasing difficult waves of different enemies in a team survival scenario where up to four players, local or via Xbox Live, will duke it out against the masses until they run out of lives.
