Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers – The Videos

Real-time combat, telekinetic abilities and Quicktime events mark the coming of Crystal Bearers, set far into the future of the Crystal Chronicles.

Unlike the Gamecube instalment, FF:CC:TCB is very much a single player affair with the focus on new comer Layle, a young mercenary and one of the ‘Crystal Bearers’. This basicly means he has super magical powers that make him feared by the ignorant masses.

So the story… as you can expect what starts out as a routine mission turns into a quest to determine the fate of the entire world, I’m being a bit vague, since this is pretty much the standard story of all JRPGS but we’ve been promised a  more “world weary” protagonist rather than one of these coming of age sagas.

Well I have high hopes, in the mean time here is the initial trailer followed by some gameplay vids.
