I Just stumbled upon this and thought that I had to share this with all of you as it is an absolutely sterling cover to the theme tune of of a sterling game. I hate to say it but they don’t make games like Monkey Island anymore… Well, apart from the… um… newer Monkey Island games. But let’s face it, It isn’t the same.

Its been reported that X-Men Arcade will be on the Xbox Live Arcade for an exclusive time. X-Men Arcade will be live on the Xbox 360 from the 15th of December, PlayStation 3 owners will have to wait a further two months to get their hands on it.

The conversion is being handled by Backbone Entertainment – the team behind the excellent revamps of Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.

The game will feature local and online co-op to complement the spruced-up graphics, and comic book fans will be able to select from a roster of classic X-Men characters, including Colossus, Magneto, Cyclops, Mystique and, of course, the ubiquitous Wolverine.

Lego, the building blocks of the gods. What can’t you do with Lego? Micro Surgery? Well not yet anyway, in time my friends, in time. Anyway there’s no point sulking over what Lego can’t do (yet) when there is so much it can do. For instance;

According to a mysterious ‘Source’ RockBand 3, expected to come out later this year, will be arriving the the legendary Keytar which went out of fashion several hundred years ago.. and then some. The idea being that there is now plenty of different combination of instruments meaning no one has to be forced into singing also there is apparently a ‘Pro mode’ that should require “proper technique” pretty much forcing you to learn the real instrument.

I’ll be honest, I’m a big fan of the series and this is a much better direction to go than carving out individual bands. I’m looking forward to the resurgence of the keytar.
