Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with $600 million in Sales in Five Days

A couple of days ago we reported on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and their first day sales of $310 million. Now its been reported that the first five day sales were $600 million in revenues. The game was so popular that Xbox LIVE hit 2 million simultaneous players at once shortly after the game was released.

Currently the game is banned in Russia because of a controversial scene in which the main character kills civilians in a Russian airport. The mission is called “No Russian.” Activision agreed to remove this mission in copies that they ship to Russia.
