250GB Hard Drive Add-on for Xbox 360 HDD Hits Japan
PC World reports that Microsoft is set to release a new add-on HDD for the Xbox 360 in Japan that has 250GB of storage space. The drive will also be offered in a stand-alone version as well. The new drive has previously been offered only in a bundle with a new console.
The 250GB HDD will be available starting on March 11 for the equivalent of $172. According to Microsoft, there is no plan to offer the stand-alone drive outside of Japan. I wonder if that means we could see the add-on version in outer countries.
