Gran Turismo is one of the most iconic game franchises on the PlayStation since the beginning. It has featured on every console that Sony has made. Developed by Polyphony Digital, Gran Turismo 5 has been much anticipated, and several delays made fans become frustrated. At this E3 the wait was finally over for Gran Turismo 5, the release date was announced. The new Gran Turismo is also introducing new car companies to its game; Ferrari and Lamborghini. Also licences for NASCAR, WRC, and Super GT and will feature the Top Gear Test Track. Damage will also be introduced to the game and progressive day light changes. In the trailer there was also a slight peek of Gran Turismo going to the Red Bull Formula 1 team, so we could expect Formula 1 race cars in the game. Gran Turismo 5 will be playable in Stereoscopic 3D.
