There has been a long war between Fifa football games and Pro Evolution Soccer games, and now the war moves across to the iPhone. Konami has announced that they will be making Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 available for the iPhone.

Additionally the version that will be introduced to the App Store will be unique i.e. it will not be the console version ported to the iPhone. Konami wanted the App Store game to be unique in its own right. Quality wise, Konami is targeting the visuals of the PSP version. In their own words

“Firstly because we thought graphics on the PSP looked fabulous, secondly because of the iPhone’s processing speed and display capacities being potentially comparable to those of a “small” PSP.”
