Sony has just confirmed that Gran Turismo 5 should be released this year probably in October.

The news has come just after a new trailer was released with some stunning scenes.

This next version of the number one driving game dynasty has been slated since 2006 and will contain nearly 1,000 cars – each perfect makes of the actual originals – and up to 70 track iterations to race them on. Should it arrive on schedule, GT5 would be the hot favourite for the biggest game launch of the year.
