There seems to be a lot of comics being made into movies lately, but not many video games. A lot of games have been made into great movies like Tomb Raider, Max Payne and Hitman. Below are my recommendation for games that deserves to be made into movies:

Half Life tops my list. Watching Gordon Freeman on big screen would be a spectacle for me. The sci-fi plot in the game is excellent and would be tough to beat in real world. Memorable Characters of Alyx, Barney and Eli would be a treat to watch.

Metal Gear Solid is another block buster that fans must be eching to see on big screen. Solid Snake at the helm of things, covert operations in cold war, assasinations in jungles, plots involving all sorts of artistry would be a dream come true for fans. Another must for me to be made into movies.

Halo is going to be awesome if Peter Jackson grabs hold of the rights. The ring shaped world is perfect for someone like Peter Jackson, who has enthrilled audience with the LOTR trilogy. Master Chief on big screen will be a sight to behold for a long time.

God of War, another game that i really want to be made into movie. The artistry and cheorography of the game has to be carefully envisioned in the game, other wise Kraton wont be too happy. And we know what happens when the GOW is not happy.

Gears of War, Crysis, Bioshock and Assassin’s Creed , all are on my list of favourite games with great characters and plots. I wish movies for these games are made with care and thought and Uwe Boll is not allowed anywhere near these master games.
