Halo: Reach Improvements to Grenades are Here

Xbox 360 16 March 2010 | 0 Comments | 408 views

Halo:Reach improvements are here!

Firstly, grenades that are thrown will carry a small orange tracer that emits light. This acts for players to be able to see where thrown grenades have landed and this light will also reflect onto the nearby environment so that if you’re playing without sound, you’ll still be aware that the grenade is nearby.

The other alteration, and one that’s intended to appease disgruntled players to some degree, is the inclusion of a ‘brief metallic clink’ that will sound from the grenade just before it is about to explode.

The updates might be small but will certainly bring an end to the common “What!? He only shot me once!” feeling as you’ll now be able to clearly see and hear that it was a loose frag that did the damage.
