I never really understood the limitations when trying to sell a game like NCAA Basketball. Only Americans really care about NCAA sports, plus then it limits customers to only people who like Basketball, thus earnings potential isn’t really that great. I find it amazing that EA Sports has been trying to make this NCAA Basketball work for the past 13 years.

While EA’s recently-revealed release calendar for the 2011 fiscal year included dozens of games, one EA Sports mainstay was nowhere to be seen. The company’s annual NCAA Basketball franchise, which has existed since 1998, may have missed its final shot, as a spokesman for the company has stated that they are not developing a new game and are currently reviewing its future.
