Lost Planet 2′s official release date was revealed at Microsoft’s X10 media event in San Francisco, and it is slated to hit the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 on May 18.

Capcom also revealed some details about the new follow-up to their action-packed 2007 title. Gears of War’s Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago will make cameo appearances, and legendary Resident Evil villain Albert Wesker, will bring his own unique brand of sunglasses-themed mayhem to the fight against the Akrids.
