Burn Wii Games and Backup the Fun

Have you ever happened what would happen if your Wii game broke? Well, the fun would end in an instant. But what options do you have? If your game breaks, you can either forget playing it, or you have to go to the store and buy another copy. I know what you’re thinking, and I agree, neither of these options are acceptable.

But what else can you do?

Well, there is a third option. But it requires you to start today. You need to start making backups of your collection before it gets lost or broken. And to do that, you need to learn how to burn Wii games.

So let’s get started. Assuming you have the game you want to backup handy, we only need a few things.

Since Wii games are printed on standard DVDs, that is all we will need when you begin burning them. Any generic brand will work, and often better than the most expensive ones. At least that has been my experience. Another benefit of using a cheaper brand of disc is they are less likely to get scratched. Don’t ask me why, I think it has something to do with the amount of additional polishing the more expensive DVDs have.

Everyone should have both the burner and blank discs handy. But the most important part of the equation is the type of game copy software you use. You see, there are a lot of them to choose from, but not all of them work like you would expect. Nor do they all create the same quality copy. This will have a big impact on how you burn Wii games.

What you want from an application is an exact one to one copy of the original game. Anything else and you can probably throw it in the trash.

What makes a good burn? Well, one that is free of errors, as these will impact the gaming experience, and in some instances make the game unplayable. There will more likely than not be graphical and audio errors in a game that wasn’t burned properly. And there is always the chance that it will simply not work.

Don’t play the guessing game when it comes to burning Wii games, get software that works.

One of the programs that I have found to make exact 1:1 copies of games can be found on my website GameCopy101.com.
