A couple of days ago we wrote about Star Trek Online beta keys. Today it has been revealed that the MMORPG game will have a standard monthly subscription rate of $14.99 per month. Game cards will be sold at retail outlets and a free 30 day trial will be included with the game.

A couple longer term memberships will be offered. A lifetime membership will set you back $239.99 and will include a bonus character and two additional character slots. A year member ship is being offered for a limited time for $119.99 that also includes two additional character slots. Sounds like a lot of money to play the game to me.
