PCWorld has reported that gaming console sales numbers for December 2009 were the biggest month of sales ever.

Facts:

• 4% jump in overall console sales
• Nintendo leading the way with the Wii selling 3.81 million units
• Nintendo DS 3.31 million units
• PS3 1.36 million units
• Xbox 360 1.31 million units
