Everyone remembers when the PS3 came out onto the market. It flung fuel over the fire that is the now the age-old PS3 or XBOX 360 debate. By now, most of us have made our choice. It’s either the PS3 for performance and graphics or the XBOX for the online community and entertainment.

However, now Microsoft is giving those who have yet to make their decision a reason to go with them. They are going to drop the price of their XBOX 360 consoles. I suspect this drop will occur on the 30^th of this month.

Their 60 Gb Pro model will be dropped to $300 while the 120 Gb Elite model will be dropped to $300. I’m sure this will awaken many XBOX gamer to be and they will sell. However, we can be expecting news of the next incarnation of the system by late next year I hope. Even if it doesn’t reach the shelves for another two or three years, a few uttered words could again put a fire in Sony’s belly.
