360 Controller for PC

PC XBOX adapterI’m a big PC gamer. But I’m also a really big 360 fan (sorry Sony, I have very little room for your PS3 in my life). And for like three years I played games on my laptop or desktop either using the keyboard or a crappy USB controller I got in GameStop for a few Euro. As it happens, I can use my 360 controller.

All I need is a wireless adapter that fits straight into my USB port on my PC. This cool little thing allows you to use your 360 controller as though it were a PC controller. It’s really easy to set up and you can buy them on eBay for a few bucks at the very most.

Mine came from Hong Kong. It took nearly two weeks to arrive but it was worth the wait.

The 360 controller isn’t great for strategy games like Command and Conquer or MMOs where the vast amount of options means you’ll constantly be lurching forward to user the keyboard anyway. But it is great for shooters, sport gamers and racing-sims where you need quick responsiveness to keep going.

Cool little things to have around even if you only play on your PC every now and again (in fact, having this adapter made me play more!).
